IBS Software is a provider of IT consultancy to the travel, transportation and logistics (TTL) industry. The company started operations in 1997 from Trivandrum, India with 55 employees. As of 2011, IBS employs around 2000 staff from 30 different nationalities and operates out of 10 offices in the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. Its software products and bespoke systems are used by airlines, airports, oil and gas companies, cruise lines and tour operators world-wide to manage their mission critical operations.

In 2007, General Atlantic invested USD 60 million in IBS for a minority stake holding.[1]

Corporate Social Responsibility

IBS CSR activities are organized through CANDLE (abbreviation for Care And Love). The company’s employees and management contribute to the funds for CANDLE.

Divine Children’s Home, a home for destitute children was started in Trivandrum, India in the year 2008 through the efforts of IBS CSR. The employees continue to support the activities of the Home.
